Terms of Use for 5G CMS

Version 1.0 – Effective January 25, 2026

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using 5G CMS (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

5G CMS is proprietary software developed and owned by Mubashar Ahmad, an independent developer based in Plymouth, England, United Kingdom.

1. Software License Overview

This website and many others are Made with 5G CMS. Use of the Software is governed by these Terms and the separate 5G CMS Freeware License Agreement (available at https://5gcms.com/5gcms-license-agreement).

2. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in 5G CMS—including source code, design, documentation, trademarks, and logos—remain with the developer. Copyright notices and attribution are permanent features and protected by law.

3. Prohibited Modifications (Free License)

Under the standard free license, you are not permitted to:

  • Remove, alter, or obscure copyright notices, license headers, or developer credits from PHP files or any source code;
  • Modify core PHP source code files;
  • Hide, disable, or stylistically conceal the footer attribution ("Made with 5G CMS") on public-facing pages;
  • Remove or change any ownership messages or legal notices embedded in the Software.

4. License Removal Package (Paid Upgrade)

To remove attributions, modify core PHP code, or create white-label versions, you must purchase a License Removal Package from the developer. This paid license grants explicit permission for:

  • Removal of footer and source-code notices;
  • Modification of PHP source files;
  • Full white-label / rebranding use (per website or per-developer options available).

Contact legal@5gcms.com for pricing and purchase. This does not affect existing free installations retroactively.

5. Code Resale and Redistribution Restrictions

You may not:

  • Sell, resell, sublicense, lease, or charge for the Software itself (standalone or packaged);
  • Distribute modified or unmodified copies to third parties for profit or as part of another product;
  • Make the Software (or modified versions) publicly available for download;
  • Present 5G CMS (or derivatives) as your own original software.

6. Permitted Uses

You may:

  • Install and use 5G CMS on an unlimited number of websites (personal, business, or client projects);
  • Customize themes, CSS, frontend JavaScript, content, pages, and media;
  • Build and host websites for clients (attribution must remain unless paid license purchased per site);
  • Add your own branding, logos, and design elements around the Software;
  • Extend functionality via approved modules or custom non-core additions.

7. Client / Agency Usage

If you are a web developer or agency:

  • You may build client sites using 5G CMS;
  • Keep the "Made with 5G CMS" footer visible on each client site (unless a License Removal Package is purchased for that site);
  • Add your own agency branding and credits;
  • Do not remove or hide 5G CMS attribution without per-site licensing.

8. Required Footer Attribution

The following notice (or substantially similar) must remain visible and legible in the website footer:

Made with 5G CMS | Copyright © [Year] | All Rights Reserved

You may append your own company name or additional credits, but the 5G CMS reference must stay intact.

9. Compliance and Enforcement

Non-compliance may result in:

  • Immediate termination of usage rights;
  • Cease-and-desist demands;
  • Legal action for copyright infringement or breach of contract;
  • Claims for damages.

The developer reserves the right to verify compliance, including code inspection, notice checks, or license audits where reasonable suspicion exists.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of 5G CMS after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Check this page periodically.
